Donald grew up in the family business watching his dad work on cars, pump gasoline at the full-service islands in the old days, managing his employees and towing cars for the local police department. Donald always had ambition to be the best mechanic around. That’s why in 1994 he left the family business to gain more knowledge from several large volume dealerships. Donald came back to the family business in 1999. While at the dealerships he gained much knowledge and was ranked in the top 1500 drivability technicians in the world. He brought this knowledge back to the family business and the business grew. That’s where the dealership alternative was formulated from his experience. Donald always enjoyed fixing things so it made sense for him to continue with the family business. Donald enjoys many other things outside of the repair shop such as being a assistant coach for the Grand Blanc High School ski team. He also spends about 1000 hours every year with the scouting program where he has served in many positions such as cubmaster, scoutmaster, assistant scoutmaster and unit commissioner. He continues to this day in the Scouting program and enjoys spending time with today’s youth in the hopes that they grow up to be fine outstanding young men.
